St Thomas’ Pre-school Playgroup
Child Collection Procedure.
If a child is to be collected by someone other than their usual carers the Pre-school must be informed in advance.
The name and a description of the person will be entered in the diary.
Where possible staff should meet the person who is to collect the child in advance.
If an emergency arises and the child’s usual carers are unable to collect them a phone call to the Pre-school mobile (077 03 664 685), with the name and a description of the person is acceptable.
If we have not been told about alternative collection arrangements the child will not be allowed to leave the Pre-school.
Staff will challenge people they do not know collecting children.
These measures are to protect your children, we look forward to your co-operation.
